Clifford J. Knippel, Jr.

Clifford J. Knippel, Jr., an attorney with the law firm of Walsh & Gaertner, P.A., brings more than 43 years of legal experience to bear when representing his clients in St. Paul, Minnesota, and throughout the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. Mr. Knippel's law practice is focused on helping injured plaintiffs with their medical malpractice and personal injury matters. He additionally has an active portion of his legal practice devoted to probate litigation.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Knippel first earned his Bachelor of Arts at the University of St. Thomas. He then pursued his legal education at the William Mitchell College of Law, now known as the Mitchell Hamline School of Law, from which he graduated with his Juris Doctor in 1972. In the same year, Mr. Knippel became licensed to practice law before all of the state courts of Minnesota.

Mr. Knippel's lengthy career has been marked with successes. Over the years, he has successfully recovered substantial settlements and verdicts for his clients in the areas of products liability, automobile accidents and medical malpractice in Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. One representative matter is a medical malpractice case filed against the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. When he won that case, he had the distinction of being the first attorney who had ever won such a case against the renowned clinic.
