Jennifer L. Pradt

Jennifer L. Pradt established her law firm about eight years ago to offer experienced criminal defense services to Minnesota. With over 24 years of legal experience, she has invaluable insight into the criminal justice system and a loyal client base. 

Ms. Pradt knows every client she works with is more than an accusation or charge and works diligently to protect their rights and liberties. She provides legal defense for clients accused of driving while intoxicated (DWI), domestic assault, child abuse, drug crimes, sexual assault, prostitution, possession of child pornography, restraining order violations and traffic offenses. She has faced over 45 jury trials, defended numerous charges of varying degrees of severity with not-guilty verdicts, mitigated sentences and acquittals.

A cum laude graduate of Macalester College, Ms. Pradt concentrated on English language and journalism. She then obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the William Mitchell College of Law and her license to practice law in Minnesota. 

Ms. Pradt, before founding her firm, worked at the Office of the Public Defender in Anoka, Minnesota for 15 years. During her tenure she handled all levels of felony and misdemeanor charges, as well as juvenile offenses, assaults, thefts, burglary, sales and possession of drugs, failure to register, solicitation of a minor, homicides, and criminal sexual conduct.

Maintaining strong relationships within her legal community, Ms. Pradt belongs to several professional organizations, such as the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Minnesota Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Lavender Bar Association and Minnesota Women Lawyers. 

Ms. Pradt was named to the 10 Best Attorneys for Exceptional and Outstanding Client Service list by the American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys, and she holds a "Very Good" rating on Avvo.  She has been named a Super Lawyer in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
