While in law school, she received certificates in alternative dispute resolution and international arbitration. She also became a trained MN Rule 114 Minnesota Facilitative Mediator.
Ms. Nyberg worked as a court clerk in the Hennepin County Family Court for a year before she started her legal practice in 2012. During her time there, she assisted clients going through high-asset divorces that involved difficult financial issues and contentious child custody battles. She gained a first-hand understanding of the process by which judicial officials reach decisions about cases, as well as the qualities that distinguish a competent family law attorney both within and outside of the courtroom.
Actively affiliated with the legal community, Ms. Nyberg is a member of the Family Law League, the Minnesota State Bar Association, Volunteer Lawyers Network and the Fourth District Ethics Committee. She also serves as the secretary of the Hennepin County Bar Association’s Family Law Section.
