Attorney Profile

Focusing her practice exclusively on family law matters, Victoria A. Elsmore is an attorney at Collins, Buckley, Sauntry, & Haugh, PLLP. From the firm's offices in St. Paul, Minnesota, she serves a client base that consists of residents of the Minneapolis–St. Paul metropolitan area. Admitted to practice before all Minnesota state courts, Ms. Elsmore is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. Highly regarded by her colleagues, she has received an "Excellent" peer review rating through Avvo for the quality of her work and her superb ethics.

In her practice, Ms. Elsmore assists people who are facing the end of their marriage and who are thus having to deal with such divorce-related matters as child custody and visitation, property division, and spousal and child support. A forceful courtroom advocate when necessary, she often helps her clients reach an accord through a negotiated settlement agreement, thereby avoiding the potential uncertainty of a judge's decision. Ms. Elsmore also represents people who are seeking modifications to or the enforcement of existing parenting and support orders, and she helps victims of domestic violence obtain appropriate protective orders.

Majoring in communications, Ms. Elsmore attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, and she received a Bachelor of Arts in 2005. She then pursued her legal education at what was then known as the William Mitchell College of Law, and she was awarded her Juris Doctor in 2009. Ms. Elsmore was with another family law firm before joining Collins, Buckley, Sauntry, & Haugh, PLLP, in 2015. A strong believer in giving back to the community, she has been repeatedly recognized by the Minnesota State Bar Association as a North Star Lawyer, which is an honor given to members who perform at least 50 hours of pro bono service annually.
