Eric C. Thole

At the Thole Law Firm, Eric C. Thole represents clients in criminal defense matters. These include traffic violations, white collar crime, Miranda rights, search and warrant, burglary, theft, assault, disorderly conduct, drug possession, cocaine possession, marijuana possession and DUI/DWI. His clients come from western Wisconsin in the eastern metropolitan area of the Twin Cities, including River Falls and Hudson.

Admitted to practice in both Wisconsin and Minnesota, Mr. Thole has over two decades of experience defending the rights of those who have been accused of committing a crime. Throughout his career, he worked for firms that represent the city of Cottage Grove and the city of Stillwater, and his practice also includes matters of personal injury.

Mr. Thole attended Macalester College to earn his undergraduate degree and was named a Top Scholar Athlete by the school. At the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School, he earned his Juris Doctor in 1992. After opening his own firm, he has handled more than 2,000 cases and represented thousands of clients who are facing an uncertain future.

The former president of the Washington County Bar Association, Mr. Thole serves in the community and is an active volunteer. He is a founding member of the Stillwater Basketball Booster Board of Directors and the Stillwater Football Board of Directors, and a former Councilman for the city of Stillwater.
