Ms. Jewell has argued before the Minnesota Court of Appeals on several occasions, assisted on a brief to the Minnesota Supreme Court in the case of Alekson, et al vs. Xcel Energy, and has brought many cases to trial before judges and juries on various civil matters. 

Active in her legal community, Ms. Jewell is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Stearns-Benton Bar Association and Minnesota Women Lawyers. She is also the immediate past Chairperson of the Minnesota State Bar Association's Rural and Agricultural Law Section Council and serves as a current Section Council member. 

Ms. Jewell also supports her local community through her involvement and support of various civic and charitable organizations, including as a Gold Sponsor of the Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid office in St. Cloud, Minnesota. She is a current Board Member with Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid, a past president of the Exchange Club of St. Cloud and a past board member of the Minnesota and Wisconsin Lakes and Pines Girl Scouts.
