The Minnesota State Bar Association admitted him to practice that same year, and the State Bar of Wisconsin admitted him in 1997. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota as well as U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.
Active in his legal community, Mr. O'Dea is a member of the Minnesota Association for Justice, the Minnesota State Bar Association and State Bar of Wisconsin. He currently serves as arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association's No-Fault Panel, and he previously served as an investigator for the Second Judicial District Ethics Committee in Ramsey County.
