    Michael K. (Mike) Graves is the Senior Member of Graves Palmertree, PLLC, located in Hernando, Mississippi, the county seat of Desoto County, Mississippi.  Mr. Graves was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 1992.  Before attending law school at Mississippi College in Jackson, Mississippi, and after attending undergraduate school at Ole Miss, Mr. Graves was employed in several managerial positions in the finance and retail industries.  This experience provides Mr. Graves valuable, practical insight and understanding as to many, varied business issues which commonly arise in business transactions and commercial litigation, both of which have comprised a significant part of Mr. Graves' law practice for nearly 30 years.  Mr. Graves also has an active civil litigation practice including matters involving breach of contract, non-compete agreements, will contests, trust litigation, property disputes, divorce, and defamation.  Mr. Graves also handles many zoning and land use matters including conditional uses, variances, permits, licensing, and rezoning.  Mr. Graves represents many banks and businesses providing both legal and business advice as well as representing banks in lender liability and collection matters.  Mr. Graves has maintained an AV-rating with Martindale-Hubbell since 2010.
