In that regard, he has appeared before the Mississippi Board of Nursing, the Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners and the Mississippi State Board of Medical Licensure. Mr. Simmons also has experience in employment law, assisting both companies as well as employees in cases involving workplace discrimination, wage and hour issues, sexual harassment, and wrongful termination and other acts of retaliation.

    Mr. Simmons is admitted to practice before all Mississippi and Tennessee state courts. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. Majoring in business, Mr. Simmons attended The University of Mississippi and received a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1984. Remaining in Oxford, he pursued his legal studies at The University of Mississippi School of Law, where he served on the Mississippi Law Journal, first as case editor and then as editor-in-chief. He is an active participant in the Health Law Section of The Mississippi Bar and several other professional groups.
