A graduate of the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law, Mr. Morgan earned his Juris Doctorate in 2004 and obtained his licences to practice law in Missouri and Kansas the same year. In 2009, he was admitted before the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri. Mr. Morgan also holds a bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Missouri in Columbia.

During law school, Mr. Morgan was a member of the university’s law review, and during his second year, he was presented the outstanding service award by the office of the Johnson County Prosecutor. He also received awards for the getting the highest final exam score in two law subjects.
