Michael Hamlin

Michael Hamlin is a co-founder of Nichols Lang & Hamlin, LLC, where he focuses his practice on personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Based in Chesterfield, Missouri, he represents clients throughout the greater St. Louis metropolitan area, including surrounding counties in both Missouri and Illinois. Admitted to practice before the state courts in both of those jurisdictions, Mr. Hamlin is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri and the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of Illinois.

Mr. Hamlin’s personal injury client base is composed of people who have been harmed as the proximate result of the negligence of other parties. He has worked on cases that have arisen out of incidents such as truck and other types of motor vehicle crashes, medical malpractice, workplace accidents, and defective products, and he has been successful in obtaining millions of dollars in deserved compensation for his clients, through both settlements that he has negotiated out of court and jury verdicts at the conclusion of lengthy trials.

Mr. Hamlin majored in political science as an undergraduate at The University of Tulsa and received a Bachelor of Science in 2000. He then went on to attend the University of Missouri School of Law, and he served on the Missouri Law Review before graduating with his Juris Doctor in 2003.
