Revered within her legal community through her judicious legal practice that has spanned over 25 years, Amy Collignon Gunn takes on every case with enthusiastic zeal to see her clients move on from the dark shadows cast by their injuries. A founding partner of Gunn | Slater in St. Louis, Missouri, she is well-equipped to handle personal injury matters involving motor vehicle accidents, products liability, medical malpractice and wrongful death. Some of her notable verdicts and settlements include $22 million, $10 million, $6 million and $2 million in mass torts/products liability cases, and $10 million, $7.5 million and $7 million in medical malpractice, among many others.

Ms. Gunn completed her undergraduate studies in 1993, graduating with her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Transylvania University. She went on to attend the Saint Louis University School of Law and received her Juris Doctor in 1996, and during her time there, she served as the managing editor of the Saint Louis University Law Journal.

Soon after becoming licensed to practice law in Missouri and Illinois, Ms. Gunn gained admission to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, the U.S. District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of Illinois, the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Missouri, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

A stalwart advocate for her clients in and out of the courtroom, Ms. Gunn has made many prominent appearances on myriad broadcast media and print publications, as well as podcasts, and strives to help keep the public informed of the numerous changes in the legal space. Her unwavering dedication to her clients, as well as the numerous strategies that she has crafted to give her clients the upper hand, trickles down to the new generation of soon-to-be-lawyers, through her position at the Washington University School of Law, where she has taught pretrial litigation from 2001 to 2015.
