    Mr. Rea is certified by the family law courts as a guardian ad litem and in both Illinois and Missouri as a dissolution mediator. In 1987, he obtained a Bachelor of Science in organizational behavior from the University of San Francisco. He then attended Southern Illinois University, where in 1993 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering. He earned his Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University School of Law.

    Mr. Rea is a member of The Missouri Bar, The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, and the solo and small firm conference committee of The Missouri Bar. Working with the Annie Malone charity as a former director and member of the board of directors, he gives back to his community. Mr. Rea is also a lawyer and coach for the High School Mock Trial Teams for Marquette High School.

    Some of Mr. Rea’s most successful cases involve the returning of minor children to the custodial parent, sole legal and physical custody for a father after trial, and complex divorces involving visitation or custody controversies, business issues and extensive assets. Mr. Rea also won a judgment against a title company for punitive damages, actual damages, and attorney fees and costs.
