Heidi Doerhoff Vollet's practice focuses on complex business and governmental-issues litigation and appellate matters, particularly those involving state and federal constitutional issues and class actions. She has extensive experience representing a variety of litigants in both federal and state court, from state governmental and political entities, large businesses and law firms to individuals who have suffered loss or were otherwise wronged.

Landowners who will benefit from this settlement include farmers, ranchers, homeowners, and small businesses located in a 14-county area in central Missouri. Heidi Doerhoff Vollet served as co-counsel for the class of Missouri property owners who had asserted trespass and inverse condemnation claims against Central Electric Power Cooperative and its wholly owned subsidiary, FiberPath Technologies, LLC for commercial use of fiber optic cable along approximately 240 miles of electric-transmission lines. Our clients were more 3,700 Missouri landowners who had been the victims of trespass by an electric transmission company and its telecommunications subsidiary that had used private property for commercial telecommunications without proper easements. The settlement concluded seven years of hard-fought litigation and provided a substantial measure of justice for the farmers, ranchers, homeowners, and small businesses whose private property had been misused for over a decade.
