Ben Mook

Ben Mook is a well-seasoned attorney with the Mook Law Firm, based in Kansas City, Missouri, with experience of over 24 years. Victims of personal injury seek his guidance and representation in matters concerning car accidents, product liability, nursing home abuse, medical malpractice, premises liability and consumer protection. Extending his practice to the Missouri metropolitan areas, he has tried several cases and recovered damages for many clients involved in cases of auto accidents, semi-truck wrecks, medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, defective design and false imprisonment.

Having spent several years on the other side, advocating for corporations and other institutions defending claims of injury, Mr. Mook finds his true calling in representing those who have suffered injustice. He secured a Bachelor of Science degree in geological engineering and went on to graduate from the University of Missouri School of Law in 2000 with his Juris Doctor. At the law school, he distinguished himself as the associate managing editor of the Missouri Law Review. Graduating in 2000, he earned honors for advocacy, including the Roscoe Anderson Award for Excellence in Advocacy and a place in the Order of Barristers.

Growing up in a rural area between Hannibal and Palmyra, Missouri, Mr. Mook brings a personal understanding of the communities he serves. He is an active member of the board of governors for the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, where he works to protect the constitutional right to a trial by jury. His dedication to this cause stems from his belief that juries, rather than legislators, are best equipped to determine appropriate compensation for individuals.
