Josh Becker

Josh Becker is a young lawyer at Dollar, Burns, Becker & Hershewe, L.C. He began his legal career defending insurance companies. Now, he uses the inside knowledge he gained to prosecute them. His areas of practice include insurance bad faith, truck crashes, wrongful death and catastrophic injury in Kansas City, Missouri.

Money management was the first professional field to catch Mr. Becker's attention. Consequently, he pursued a bachelor's degree in finance. Four years later, he also graduated from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law with a J.D. and magna cum laude honors. In fact, he graduated top of his class.

In 2015, Mr. Becker became licensed to practice in both Kansas and Missouri. Since then, he has continued to add more courts to his practice area. He is currently admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.

Mr. Becker has had a strong focus on giving back since his days in college. In fact, while pursuing his J.D., he advised low-income business owners and taught law study groups. He genuinely enjoys the feeling of knowing he has helped someone else overcome obstacles in their lives, and that's why his clients enjoy working with him.
