Maureen Brady

As a partner at McShane & Brady LLC in Kansas City, Maureen Brady is dedicated to providing top-quality representation for her clients in the fields of personal injury, medical malpractice and contract litigation. Ms. Brady has been admitted to practice law in Missouri and Kansas, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and the United States Supreme Court.

After receiving her Bachelor of Arts at Creighton University in 1990, Ms. Brady went on to earn her Juris Doctor at the Michigan State University College of Law in 2005, though she spent her third year of law school at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. While at UMKC, Ms. Brady competed in the American Bar Association’s (ABA) National Moot Court Competition, and her team won the regional title and placed seventh in the nation.

Upon graduating from law school, Ms. Brady worked as an adjunct professor at National American University teaching paralegal studies. She also clerked for the Honorable Michael W. Manners, Judge of Division 2 of the Circuit Court of Jackson County, where she gained experience in every aspect of litigation. After moving into private practice, she successfully handled several notable successes, including high-profile trucking cases, one of which was recognized as a top defense verdict for 2011 by Missouri Lawyers Weekly. The magazine also recognized one of her medical malpractice cases as a top defense verdict in 2012, and she was named one of the “Best of the Bar” in 2013.

Ms. Brady serves on the Creighton University Alumni Board and has done work for the Metropolitan Organization to Count Sexual Assault (MOCSA). She believes in providing a voice to clients who are injured or otherwise in need of help with difficult and complex personal injury and contract litigation cases.
