Michael Lester

Attorney Michael Lester works out of the DM Injury Law's Kansas City, Missouri, office; the law firm has offices spread across Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma. Representing residents of Missouri and Kansas, he focuses on cases involving injuries caused by:

Prior to joining DM Injury Law, Mr. Lester spent 7 years defending trucking companies in personal injury cases. However, he realized his true passion was advocating for the injured, prompting him to switch sides. He brought with him the valuable knowledge and insights gained from his previous experience, which he now employs to benefit his clients as a personal injury attorney. He can navigate the complexities of gathering crucial data for victims' claims, as well as understand the methods employed by trucking companies and their insurance providers when assessing and investigating commercial accidents.

Raised in Kansas City, Mr. Lester also spent some time in Texas, where he earned his bachelor's degree from Rice University. Following his graduation, he returned to Kansas City and obtained his law degree at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law. Notably, he achieved magna cum laude honors from both institutions.

Mr. Lester is licensed to practice law in Kansas, Missouri, the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri. He maintains active memberships in several professional associations, including the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the Kansas Bar Association and The Missouri Bar Foundation. Furthermore, he has received recognition in the legal community, including being named in the "Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch" in 2021 and attaining a "Good" rating on Avvo.
