Stacey L. Janssen

Stacey L. Janssen, the owner of Janssen Estate Probate & Elder Law, serves clients in Kansas City, Missouri. Renowned for her proficiency in estate planning, probate administration and elder law, she has established herself as an accomplished legal professional. After completing her undergraduate studies in political science and art history at The University of Kansas in 1985, Ms. Janssen pursued a career in law. In 1988, she earned her Juris Doctor from The University of Kansas School of Law. The same year, she passed the bar exam and was licensed to practice law in Missouri.

Following law school, Ms. Janssen gained valuable experience working at a well-respected law firm focusing on estate planning and probate. There, she honed her legal skills, successfully handling a wide range of cases and gaining the trust of her clients and colleagues alike.

In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Janssen is part of the Estate Planning Society of Kansas City and serves on the board of directors for the Johnson County Bar Association. Additionally, she chairs the Johnson County Probate Law Committee and is a member of various legal organizations, including the Kansas Bar Association’s Elder Law Section, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. Furthermore, she played a significant role in founding the Kansas Chapter of the NAELA.

Ms. Janssen has garnered acknowledgment for her outstanding achievements and has been honored with the title of Best of the Bar by the Kansas City Business Journal.
