Based in Kansas City, Missouri, he represents clients throughout the metropolitan area who have suffered harm as a result of the negligence of other parties. Mr. Monsees has been able to obtain numerous sizable settlements and jury awards for his clients in cases arising out of truck and other motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, and products liability. As a result, he has been selected for membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. These successes have also resulted in other recognition from his colleagues, including an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and a 10.0 "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo. Mr. Monsees has also been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America.

Mr. Monsees pursued his legal education at the University of Missouri School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1981. Upon graduation, he was inducted into the Order of the Coif, membership in which is limited to law students who graduate in the top 10 percent of their class. Mr. Monsees spent the first several years of his career as an insurance defense attorney, and this experience has allowed him to anticipate the types of tactics he faces as a plaintiff's attorney. He is the author of "Preparing for a Personal Injury Case" and several other published works.
