A criminal defense attorney representing clients in Kansas City, Missouri, Tracy Spradlin is a partner at the Spradlin Kennedy Law Firm. Along with clients in Kansas City, Ms. Spradlin also represents those in Lee’s Summit, Independence and Jackson County, and clients in both Kansas and western Missouri. A graduate of the University of Missouri – Columbia, she graduated in 2008 with honors as a Journalism major and a minor in English. She then earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law in 2013, and is admitted to practice in Missouri, Kansas, the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri, and the United States District Court of Kansas.
She is on the board of directors for the Association for Women Lawyers, and on the board of directors for the KCMBA Young Lawyers Section. She served for several years as chair of the Municipal Court Committee. She is a member of the Kansas Bar Association, the Missouri Bar Association and the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. A graduate of both the Ross T. Roberts Trial Academy and the Missouri Bar Leadership Academy, Ms. Spradlin gives back to her community through her involvement with the Young Professionals Board of Legal Aid of Western Missouri, and as a volunteer attorney for Legal Aid's "Warrant Relief Project." In 2017, she was recognized by the KC Counselor as a "Pro-Bono Champion."
With a passion for animal advocacy, Ms. Spradlin also serves as legal counsel for Going To The Dogs, LLC, a non-profit aimed at providing bullet and stab-proof vests for local police K9s.
