Alyssa Dockins

Attorney Alyssa Dockins represents clients at Langdon & Emison in Kansas City, Missouri, where she represents clients in complex civil litigation matters. Her practice primarily focuses on class actions and mass torts. Through her work, she advocates for individuals seeking justice and fair compensation when harmed by widespread corporate wrongdoing, defective products and large-scale negligence. She works diligently to protect consumer rights and guide clients through every phase of the legal process.

Ms. Dockins earned her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Graceland University in April 2018. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2021. During law school, she excelled academically and demonstrated exceptional advocacy skills. She was ranked as the first seed after the preliminary rounds of the Last 1L Standing Mock Trial Competition, consistently earned a spot on the Dean’s List and received the prestigious Order of Barristers Award upon graduation. In 2022, she was admitted to practice law in Missouri.

With a strong foundation in trial advocacy, Ms. Dockins approaches her cases with thorough preparation and detailed analytical skill. She is committed to navigating complex procedural and legal frameworks to build persuasive arguments on behalf of her clients. Beyond her practice, she maintains a dedicated presence in the legal community. She serves on the board of directors for the Association for Women Lawyers (AWL) of Greater Kansas City, where she also contributes to the Women on the Move 5K Planning Committee and participates in the AWL Foundation’s Denise Henning Connections Mentorship Program.

Additionally, Ms. Dockins is a board member for the Eastern Jackson County Bar Association and serves on the New Lawyer Committee for the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys. Her professional involvement extends to memberships in the Society of Women Trial Lawyers and participation in both the KCMBA Ross T. Roberts Trial Academy and the KCMBA Bar Leadership Academy.
