Donald L. Schlapprizzi

Widely regarded as one of the top personal injury advocates in Missouri as well as the entire country, Donald L. Schlapprizzi has achieved unprecedented success fighting on behalf of the rights and entitlements of those adversely affected by someone else's negligence or wrongdoing. An attorney for more than 58 years, he founded Schlapprizzi Attorneys at Law in St. Louis, Missouri, in 1981 and continues to serve as the firm's president.

A 1957 graduate of Washington University, Mr. Schlapprizzi returned to his alma mater and attended Washington University School of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctor in 1959. That same year, he received his license to practice from The Missouri Bar, and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Highly active in his legal community, Mr. Schlapprizzi is a member of numerous professional legal organizations, and he has served on the Supreme Court of Missouri Committee on Civil Jury Instructions for the past 16 years. A fellow with the American College of Trial Lawyers, he currently serves on the organization's jury committee and once served on its federal rules of civil procedure committee. He is also a fellow with the International Society of Barristers and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers.

A veteran of dozens of court cases, he once served as lead counsel on one of Missouri's longest civil jury trials, and he has secured numerous substantial settlements and awards for those struggling to support themselves and their families in the wake of a preventable tragedy.

As a result of his success, Mr. Schlapprizzi has earned membership into the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and he has received numerous awards for his distinguished service and outstanding accomplishments.
