The founder of The Law Offices of Gretchen Myers, P.C., Gretchen Myers focuses her practice exclusively on personal injury and wrongful death litigation. From her office in St. Louis, Missouri, she represents people who have been harmed by the negligence of other parties. The types of cases that Ms. Myers has handled have primarily included truck and other motor vehicle crashes, medical malpractice such as misdiagnoses, hospital negligence and surgical errors, and other general personal injury law.

During her career, Ms. Myers has been able to obtain numerous sizable settlements and jury verdicts on behalf of her plaintiffs. These have included an $11 million judgment in a case involving a big rig semi that hit her client, a $1.1 million award in a wrongful death lawsuit based on medical malpractice, an almost $4 million dollar verdict in a products liability case, a $2 million settlement involving a back surgery gone wrong and a $9 million bad faith insurance company settlement. These and other results have earned Ms. Myers a membership in the invitation-only Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and she has received other recognition as well. The recipient of an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and a 10.0 "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo, she has also been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America on multiple occasions.

She has 2 top trial lawyer awards (Lon Hocker and Mizzou Order of the Barristers) and many 1sts in her career: Missouri Association of Trial Attorney's President 1998 (1st woman in organizational history); Association of Plaintiffs Interstate Trucking Lawyers of America President-Elect 2019 (1st woman in this national organizations history); Missouri Approved Instruction Committee (1st woman trial lawyer on this 10 person committee). Ms. Myers is admitted to practice before all Missouri, Illinois, and California state courts, and she is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. A 1981 recipient of a Bachelor of Arts in honors Economics and Political Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia, she subsequently obtained her Juris Doctor at the University of Missouri School of Law where she was named to Law Review and was President of its MATA student chapter. She lectures and teaches throughout the country on all facits of trial work.
