His journey continued as he gained the privilege to present cases in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri in 2000 and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit in 2001.

Before concentrating on family law, Mr. Miller spent over a decade in criminal defense, safeguarding the rights of the accused in state and federal cases, including securing acquittals for clients. He was part of the esteemed Criminal Justice Act Lead Panel for the Eastern District of Missouri and is affiliated with the St. Charles County Bar Association, the Jefferson County Bar Association and the St. Louis County Bar Association.
