James P. Lemonds

At Brown & Crouppen, P.C., James P. Lemonds is a litigation attorney who represents clients who have personal injury cases. His clients come from Illinois, Kansas and Missouri, and he was named by Missouri Lawyers Weekly as a Best Litigator and Litigator of the Year. For two decades, he represented insurance companies, health care providers and product manufacturers, which makes him uniquely prepared to represent the injured as he understands how both sides work.

In 1980, Mr. Lemonds graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Arts before moving on to law school. At Saint Louis University School of Law, he earned his Juris Doctor in 1983 and is now admitted to practice in the state of Illinois and the state of Missouri.

While Mr. Lemonds devotes all his practice to litigating cases, he has also published articles in the Journal of the Missouri Bar and The Missouri Trial Attorney. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the Lawyers Association of St. Louis, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the Illinois State Bar Association, The Missouri Bar and the American Bar Association.

During his career, he has tried more than 100 civil cases to jury verdict in both federal and state courts. In his current position, he works hard to obtain compensation for those who have been victim of the carelessness of another. With an extensive understanding of how the law works to protect the injured, he is passionate about helping those who have been harmed by dangerous products and foolish choices.
