Jim Avery

The founder of Avery Injury Law in St. Louis, Missouri, he is well-equipped to handle numerous personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice and uninsured/underinsured motorist insurance matters, among many others. 

Mr. Avery completed his legal studies in 2017, receiving his Juris Doctor from the Saint Louis University School of Law. Prior to attending law school, he served in the United States Marine Corps and later in the Missouri Army National Guard. Following the tragic events of 9/11, he served in numerous combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, working in units that specialized in Improvised Explosive Device destruction. For his ironclad duty and service, he was awarded the Army Commendation Medal. 

With an abundance of patience and unlimited resolve, Mr. Avery pursues every available legal avenue to help his clients move on from their legal woes and toward steady waters in their lives. Some of his many notable verdicts and settlements include $1 million for a minor who was hurt in an ATV accident and a $1,000,000 uninsured motorist settlement, as well as a $1,000,000 settlement in a bodily injury case. Within his legal community, he maintains close affiliations with The Missouri Bar Association and other prominent organizations in an effort to progress his judicious advocacy to even greater heights.
