Maia Brodie

The founder of Brodie Law in St. Louis, Missouri, Maia Brodie represents clients with family law matters, including child custody, child support, divorce, modifications, property division, spousal support, post-decree modifications, prenuptial agreement, orders of protection and same-sex relationship issues. 

Ms. Brodie received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and studied law at Washington University School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor degree and served as president of the Student Bar Association. 

A compassionate and empathetic attorney, Ms. Brodie understands how difficult it must be for her clients who are dealing with family law issues. Prioritizing their best interests, she holds an unwavering commitment to their needs and keeps them well informed of every aspect of their cases. A fierce and devoted advocate for the rights of her clients, she helps them navigate through this tough time by providing the most efficient legal services. 

Ms. Brodie serves as a special representative of Region X of the Missouri Supreme Court’s Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel, providing ethical oversight. In addition, she regularly speaks in several seminars and continuing legal education platforms on family law, divorce and legal ethics. 

Actively involved in the legal field, Ms. Brodie is a member of The Missouri Bar, the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the St. Louis County Bar Association, among others. 

Ms. Brodie’s legal work has earned her much recognition. She is AV Preeminent peer-review rated,* the highest rating, through Martindale-Hubbell. For her persistent work volunteering her time with those who need it the most, she has received the Volunteer Lawyer Award from Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. 

Licensed to practice law in Illinois in 1989 and Missouri in 1998, Ms. Brodie is also licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Missouri, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit and the St. Louis County Family Court for the 21st Judicial Circuit.
