Mary Simon

Mary Simon is a dedicated attorney at The Simon Law Firm, P.C., where she passionately represents clients who have suffered from serious injuries due to birth injuries, product liability and medical malpractice. Her approach is marked by compassion and relentless determination, ensuring that those affected by third-party negligence receive the advocacy they deserve. Concentrating her practice in the areas of St. Louis, Missouri, she also covers the Southern Illinois region.

Ms. Simon’s legal journey began at Saint Louis University (SLU) School of Law, after obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in political science and sociology, with a minor in Spanish, from Loyola University of Chicago. During her studies, she gained experience as a legal clerk, which helped her develop a profound understanding of personal injury, medical malpractice and defective product cases. Her educational path was distinguished by internships, including one for the U.S. Congress, and a study abroad experience in Madrid, Spain.

Throughout her time at SLU Law, Ms. Simon was deeply involved in various extracurricular activities. She served as co-president of the Women’s Law Student Association and chair of the Philanthropy Committee for the Student Bar Association. Additionally, she was a staff editor for the Public Law Review and worked in the Legal Aid Clinic for the Catholic Legal Assistance Ministry, demonstrating her commitment to community service and legal excellence.

Today, Ms. Simon is an active member of several professional associations, including the American Association of Justice Board of Governors, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the Young Lawyers Division and the Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater St. Louis. Her dedication to the legal community is further evidenced by her recognition in the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 and Top 25 Medical Malpractice Trial Attorneys. She is admitted to practice in both Missouri and Illinois, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Ms. Simon is actively involved in her community, serving as a big sister for Big Brothers Big Sisters and facilitating legal seminars. Her international outreach includes aiding in water system implementations in rural Nicaragua, highlighting her global perspective on service and justice.
