Michael J. Quillin

A co-founder of O’Leary, Shelton, Corrigan, Peterson, Dalton & Quillin, Michael J. Quillin focuses his practice exclusively on personal injury and wrongful death litigation. From the firm's office in St. Louis, Missouri, he represents clients throughout the greater metropolitan area and across the country. Admitted to practice before all Missouri state courts since 2009, Mr. Quillin is also admitted to practice in Illinois.

Mr. Quillin's client base is comprised of people who have been harmed by the negligence of other parties, and a significant portion of his caseload consists of defective drugs and medical devices litigation. He has served as counsel in class actions brought against the manufacturers of hip replacements, transvaginal mesh, birth control pills and IVC filters, and he has been able to obtain millions of dollars in compensation for his clients through jury awards and negotiated settlements. As a result, Mr. Quillin is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum, both of which are invitation-only organizations.

In addition to his product liability cases, Mr. Quillin's experience has encompassed premises liability, truck and other motor vehicle crashes, and construction site accidents. His successful track record in all these endeavors has earned him an "Excellent" peer review rating through Avvo.

Born and raised in St. Louis, Mr. Quillin attended John Carroll University as an undergraduate, where he majored in English and received a Bachelor of Arts in 1995. After working as a software engineer while studying for a master's degree in management information systems that he eventually obtained from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 2001, he enrolled at the University of Missouri School of Law, and he served on what was then known as the Missouri Environmental Law & Policy Review before being awarded his Juris Doctor in 2009.
