Mr. Scanlon attended William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri, on an athletic scholarship, graduating in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in political science. He obtained his legal education at Saint Louis University School of Law earning his Juris Doctorate in 2014. While in law school, he was proudly selected to serve as an intern with the United States Army where he worked exclusively for the Trial Defense Service in Fort Riley, Kansas.
Mr. Scanlon is highly regarded for his successful representation of clients charged by the state or federal government with felony or misdemeanor offenses. He has worked on every type of criminal charge including but not limited to:

Mr. Scanlon has assisted thousands of criminally accused through conscientious, client-centered advocacy, and he has obtained positive results through acquittals, plea negotiations, and dismissals. After he graduated law school and prior to his entering private practice, worked for the Office of the State Public Defender in Missouri’s 24th Circuit. He joined Travis Noble, P.C. as an attorney in November 2019. He is admitted to practice in Missouri as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern & Western Districts of Missouri, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
