Richard H. Sindel

Richard H. Sindel is an attorney and principal at Sindel Noble in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Sindel devotes his practice to all types of criminal defense law, representing individuals charged with child pornography, drug violations, federal crimes, sex offenses and violent crimes. He serves clients throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area and the entire surrounding region.

Mr. Sindel has more than 40 years of experience and has tried cases in state and federal court at the trial and appellate levels. He has been a licensed attorney since 1973 and is admitted in Missouri and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th and 8th Circuits and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Over the course of his legal career, Mr. Sindel has received numerous honors and awards, including being recognized as one of the best lawyers in St. Louis by The Wall Street Journal. He holds an AV Preeminent* rating from the peer review organization Martindale-Hubbell and has been listed in the publication “The Best Lawyers in America.”

Mr. Sindel has also received recognition from the Corporate Counsel magazine, St. Louis Business Journal, St. Louis Magazine and the American Association for Justice. He holds leadership positions, including sitting on the board of the Death Penalty Information Center and the Death Penalty Litigation Clinic. He is a member of The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, The Missouri Bar and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

After earning a bachelor’s degree from The University of Kansas, Mr. Sindel graduated summa cum laude from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. In addition to his practice, he has lectured for various bar associations and organizations over the years.
