Sara Marler

Sara L. Marler is a passionate family law attorney and managing partner of the firm Marler Law Partners. Licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri since 2003, she has been helping clients throughout Missouri to tackle family law matters, including:

• Divorce
• Child custody
• Child support
• Prenuptial and postnuptial agreements
• Grandparents’ rights 
• Same-sex divorce

After earning her Bachelor of Science degree in business from Maryville University in St. Louis in 1999, Ms. Marler joined the New England Law School | Boston to pursue her legal studies. Excelling in her studies at the law school, she graduated cum laude and obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence. She actively participated in extracurricular activities at the university and was a member of the university’s Law Review. 

Upon completing law school Ms. Marler began her career at the Missouri State Public Defender's Office where she served as an assistant public defender for a year. Since then, she has gained extensive experience and knowledge throughout her career by serving as an attorney at several organizations. 

A compassionate attorney, Ms. Marler understands and embraces the fact that caring is what makes this job special. She has been a voice for numerous children and victims of abuse and finds her happiness and satisfaction in helping others by holding on to what matters the most to them. She always strives to be accommodative of her clients’ needs and custom-tailors a solution accordingly. 

Well-respected in her legal community for her contributions and achievements, Ms. Marler holds an almost perfect score of 9.9 on a scale of 10 on Avvo and has received positive reviews from her clients as well. She has been an active member of the Jefferson County Bar Association since 2004.
