Steve Slough

The owner of his eponymous law firm, Steve Slough focuses his practice primarily on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, and his experience encompasses workers' compensation matters as well. He is based in St. Louis, Missouri, the city where he was born and raised, and he represents clients in the greater metropolitan area and throughout the state. Mr. Slough has been admitted to practice before all Missouri state courts since 2010, and he is also admitted to practice in Illinois.

Mr. Slough’s personal injury client base is made up of people who have been harmed due to the negligence or recklessness of other parties. The cases that he has worked on have been based on defective or dangerous products, premises liability, truck and other motor vehicle crashes, dog bites and nursing home negligence. Mr. Slough’s clients have in the aggregate received millions of dollars in compensation as the result of his skills in conducting jury trials through verdict as well as in his negotiation of favorable settlements outside of the courtroom.

As an undergraduate, Mr. Slough attended Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a member of the school’s varsity soccer team and made the Eastern Region All-Academic Team before receiving a Bachelor of Arts in political science. Returning to his home town for his legal education, Mr. Slough enrolled at Saint Louis University School of Law, and he participated in mock trial competitions and interned at the Office of the Circuit Attorney for the City of St. Louis before being awarded his Juris Doctor in 2010. After graduation, he worked for a civil litigation defense firm before establishing his own practice in 2015.
