Sara S. Berg

A veteran attorney with nearly 25 years of experience helping many individuals overcome their contentious legal challenges with grace and poise, Sara S. Berg is a partner at the law office of Laird Cowley, PLLC, in Helena, Montana, and primarily handles all aspects of family law. Ranging from divorce and separation, and child custody and support to spousal support, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, she is a proponent of utilizing alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation, to ensure the legal process does not take its toll on her clients. She is also well-equipped to handle medical malpractice cases of maximal complexity with relative ease.

Ms. Berg completed her undergraduate studies in 1997, graduating with her Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She went on to attend the University of Montana School of Law, where her shrewd legal acumen and talents were fostered and sharpened through her active involvement on campus. She received her Juris Doctor in 2000, and in the same year, she obtained her license to practice law in Montana. Later on, she was admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Montana, the United States Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States.

With a penchant for finding effective solutions to problems that require an out-of-the-box approach, Ms. Berg leaves no stone unturned in her pursuit of getting her clients the relief and peace of mind they deserve.
