John S. Berry Jr. advocates for the rights of Omaha, Nebraska, residents who suffer catastrophic injuries through no fault of their own. He also represents military veterans in appealing their VA disability claims nation-wide.
A 1997 graduate of the College of William & Mary in Virginia, Mr. Berry received his Juris Doctor cum laude from the Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2003. He is a graduate of the famous Trial Lawyers College and is licensed to practice in Nebraska, Iowa, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
Mr. Berry was commissioned as an Infantry officer in the United States Army. In 1999, he deployed to Bosnia for Operation Joint Forge with the First Cavalry Division. He also served as a Company Commander in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005. After over 20 years of service in the active U.S. Army and the National Guard, he was inducted into the Nebraska National Guard Regional Training Institute Hall of Fame.
