Christopher P. Ford

Christopher P. Ford is the founding partner of Ford & Friedman, located in Henderson, Nevada. Providing representation to clients throughout the Las Vegas area, he focuses his practice primarily in the area of family law, with representative cases including those involving divorce, same-sex marriage, child custody, post-order modification and related matters. Additionally, Mr. Ford also handles other civil and criminal defense litigation matters as well.

Mr. Ford pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and he received his Bachelor of Arts in political science in 2004. While there, he was named to the Dean's List. He then went on attend the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, graduating in 2009 with his Juris Doctor. Mr. Ford founded his current firm in 2012. Admitted to practice in Nevada, he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada.

Highly regarded by his fellow professionals, Mr. Ford has received a 10.0 "superb" peer review rating though Avvo, and he has been named to Nevada Business magazine's annual Legal Elite list on three different occasions. In addition, the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys named him to its list of Nevada's Top 10 Family Law Attorneys.

In order to stay abreast of current developments in his fields of practice as well as to forge connections with fellow professionals, Mr. Ford is an active participant in several legal organizations. He is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Nevada as well as a member of the Clark County Bar Association.
