Lawrence Ruiz

The founder of The Ruiz Law Firm in Henderson, Nevada, Lawrence Ruiz works with victims of personal injuries, helping them navigate their legal challenges. He limits his practice to representing plaintiffs – never the employers or insurance carriers. Over his career spanning 13-plus years, he has taken on a variety of matters:

Having handled several workers’ compensation cases, Mr. Ruiz is aware of the devastating effect a workplace injury can have on working families throughout Nevada. He tries hard to secure financial assistance for his clients while they are recovering and unable to work.

A Northern California native, Mr. Ruiz pursued his Bachelor of Arts in English at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He received his Juris Doctor in 2008 from the University of Nevada – Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law, where he was a recipient of its academic scholarship. He was authorized to practice law in Nevada in 2009. 

During his law school, Mr. Ruiz studied international criminal law and the international sales of goods by engaging in a summer program in Florence, Italy. He also externed for the Honorable Judge Elizabeth Gonzalez at the Eighth Judicial District Court in Nevada. 

Mr. Ruiz is a member of the Clark County Bar Association, the Nevada Justice Association and the American Association for Justice. Moreover, he supports a variety of causes by being part of charitable organizations such as the Grant a Gift Autism Foundation Ackerman Center, The Heart Walk – American Heart Association and Make-A-Wish Foundation – to name a few.
