Matthew Whittaker is an accomplished litigator at Michaelson Law, renowned for his proficiency in contested business and estate matters. With a decade of legal practice, he has adeptly represented individuals and businesses across a spectrum of disputes, including business litigation, real estate litigation, civil litigation, commercial litigation and bankruptcy. Mr. Whittaker's legal journey commenced in the Appellate Unit of the Clark County District Attorney’s Office, where he honed his research and writing skills by drafting comprehensive appellate briefs for cases ranging from minor offenses to complex death penalty matters. This experience laid a robust foundation for his ability to navigate intricate legal challenges.

A native of Nevada, Mr. Whittaker has spent the majority of his life in the state, having moved to Las Vegas with his family at the age of two. He pursued his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, earning a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in political science in 2010. He returned to Nevada to attend the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 2013.

Since transitioning to private practice, Mr. Whittaker has established a reputation for dissecting complex legal challenges and delivering practical, effective solutions.
