Tony M. May

As co-manager at the May Brock Law Group in Las Vegas, Nevada, Tony M. May, Esq. serves clients in and around Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson and the Reno/Carson area. He focuses his practice on the following areas:

Starting out as a civil engineer with professional licenses in Nevada and California, Mr. May obtained his B.S. in civil engineering magna cum laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 1994. He then practiced engineering for several years before deciding to pursue a career in law. Enrolling at The University of Iowa College of Law, he excelled as a law student and was a member of the Journal of Corporation Law and the University of Iowa Legal Clinic. He was also a participant in the Stephenson Trial Advocacy Competition and the Trial Advocacy Program. 

Graduating with his Juris Doctor, with distinction, in 2001, Mr. May was licensed that same year to practice law in Iowa. Currently, he is licensed in Nevada, California and the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada. He serves a diverse range of clients, including individuals, property owners and even Fortune 500 companies. As an accomplished attorney with vast legal acumen and an engineering background, he is able to handle complex legal matters and construction lawsuits with ease. 

Mr. May is a member of the Nevada State Bar, the California State Bar, the Clark County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Construction Financial Management Association, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and Tau Beta Pi Honor Society. 

Among his many accomplishments in the legal field, Mr. May was selected as a bar examiner for the State Bar of Nevada by-yearly exams and has co-authored a portion of a book called "State-by-State Guide to Construction Contracts And Claims."

Listed in the 2012 Top Lawyers in Southern Nevada under the construction and land use category by Vegas Inc., the Valley's Top Lawyers in 2014 by the Desert Companion magazine, Top 100 Lawyers in MyVegas Magazine in 2021, and Best Real Estate Lawyers by Expertise for several years in a row, Mr. May has been recognized by the legal community on several occasions during the course of the past several years.
