Details
Ms. Higbee’s practice consists primarily of real estate matters including homeowners association matters, property management matters, transactions and litigation. She has provided advice to homeowners associations, commercial property owners associations, commercial and residential landlords, property managers, lenders in connection with SBA loan closings, real estate agents and buyers and sellers of real estate. Clients turn to Ms. Higbee for her expertise in compliance with CC&Rs, Bylaws, Articles and other documents for common interest communities and commercial property owners associations, leasing matters, eviction matters, closing SBA loans, regulatory compliance and other real estate matters.
Ms. Higbee is a shareholder with the firm and began serving as president in January 2019. She has an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible peer rating for ethical standards and legal ability. Ms. Higbee has lectured for various organizations and has published materials concerning real estate matters, landlord/tenant law, community association matters and commercial association matters. Ms. Higbee serves on the Common-Interest Community Committee of the State Bar of Nevada, Real Property Section which purpose is to address proposed changes to legislation and existing statutes including NRS 116.
When Ms. Higbee is not working, she can be found boating, playing volleyball, traveling and spending time with her family.
