Brian K. Steadman

Brian K. Steadman is an accomplished attorney and a partner at Solomon Dwiggins Freer & Steadman, LTD., in Las Vegas, Nevada. With a law practice focused on business law, corporate law, estate planning, probate and tax law, Mr. Steadman works with numerous clients throughout the Las Vegas area. Committed to helping his clients with long-term planning, he creates powers of attorney, wills and a variety of types of trusts, including Nevada asset protection trusts. He regularly represents beneficiaries and fiduciaries in complex probate disputes. He also helps clients with business planning, including mergers, acquisitions and succession planning.

After earning a political science degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Mr. Steadman subsequently obtained his law degree from Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska, where he focused his studies on business law. Today, he is admitted to practice in all Nevada state courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada.

Mr. Steadman has been active in numerous professional organizations, including the Clark County Bar Association, the State Bar of Nevada and the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Exit Planning Institute, an organization offering tools and resources to attorneys who advise entrepreneurs who are planning on leaving their businesses.

His extensive experience allows Mr. Steadman to regularly share his legal knowledge with others. He has taught classes and seminars on topics such as estate planning and probate for organizations such as the National Business Institute. In 2014, he published an article on small business succession opportunities for the publication Nevada Business.
