Daniel R. Ormsby

Daniel R. Ormsby joined Albright, Stoddard, Warnick & Albright in 2018, and currently serves as an associate attorney at the Las Vegas-based firm in Nevada. Practicing law in Nevada since 2017, he focuses his attention mainly on the areas of personal injury, including motorcycle accidents, car accidents, slip-and-fall accidents, work injuries and wrongful death, along with complex business litigation.  

Although born in California, Mr. Ormsby was brought up in Utah where he attended Brigham Young University, Provo, and graduated his bachelor’s degree with an economics major and a minor in English literature in 2013. He went on to study law with an academic scholarship at the William S. Boyd School of Law–University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He graduated with his J.D. in 2017 and received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award in employment discrimination during his time there. He was also an enthusiastic participant in the activities of the student chapter of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society and a member of the Nevada Law Journal. 

Even as young as a college student, Mr. Ormsby tried to get hands-on experience in his choice of profession and interned for the Honorable Judge Kenneth C. Cory at the Eight Judicial District Court, where he prepared bench memoranda, observed trials and read motions. He worked for another boutique firm for about two years as a clerk and soon after as an associate attorney before joining Albright, Stoddard, Warnick & Albright. 

Mr. Ormsby has a total professional legal experience of about six years. Throughout these years, he has exhibited compassion for clients who come seeking his help and has assisted them to escape the dark times in their life caused due to the negligent actions of others. He understands the helpless state that a catastrophic injury or loss of a loved one can put an individual in. Hence, he is committed to getting them the deserved compensation from the guilty parties to aid them set their life back on track.
