Dara J. Goldsmith is a co-founder and shareholder of the law firm of Goldsmith & Guymon, PC, in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she handles estate planning, guardianship administration and litigation, probate and trust administration and litigation.  Additionally, she regularly handles trust, estate and guardianship appeals to the Nevada Supreme Court.  She represents clients in Las Vegas and the surrounding areas, including Green Valley, Henderson, Summerlin and The Lakes and regularly appears as counsel throughout Nevada, including rural counties and Washoe County, and California.

After graduating from California State University, Northridge, Ms. Goldsmith earned her law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law. She also holds a master's degree in tax law from the University of Miami School of Law.

Ms. Goldsmith is licensed to practice in the state courts of California, Arizona, Hawaii and Nevada. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of California, the U.S. District Courts for Hawaii and Nevada, the U.S. Tax Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Active in professional organizations, Ms. Goldsmith holds memberships with the bar associations of California, Arizona, Hawaii and Nevada, the American Bar Association, the Nevada Law Foundation, the Southern Nevada Association of Women Attorneys, Southern Nevada Estate Planning Council, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She is presently the Amicus Curiae (Friends of the Court) Chairperson for the State Bar of Nevada's Probate and Trust Section.  She has also served as president of the Clark County Bar Association and the Clark County Law Foundation and served as Chairperson of the board of directors for the Nevada Community Foundation.  She was formerly the Chairperson of the Justice League/Nevada Law Foundation.

In 2021, Nevada Legal Services honored Goldsmith & Guymon as the Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year.  In 2018, Ms. Goldsmith was honored by Nevada Legal Services as the Pro Bono Guardianship Attorney of the Year.  In 2014, Ms. Goldsmith received the Medal of Justice award from the State Bar of Nevada. In 2011, the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada honored her for her pro bono work.
