Derek R. Noack

Derek Noack is Senior Counsel in the Las Vegas office of Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP. He practices primarily in the areas of personal injury, insurance defense, bad faith insurance claims, construction & design law, and real estate disputes. Derek is licensed to practice in both Nevada and California. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California San Diego, where he received his bachelor’s degree in History.

Before entering law school, Derek managed recreational classes and youth camps at UC San Diego, including the development of a work volunteer program for local high school students. At University of San Diego School of Law, he was the Managing Editor of the International Law Journal. Derek spent a semester as a judicial extern for the Honorable Michael M. Anello of the Southern District of California and was a certified legal intern for both the San Diego County District Attorney’s Insurance Fraud team and the Attorney General’s Employment and Administrative Mandates section. After finishing law school, Derek worked for UC San Diego’s Ethics and Compliance Office on whistle-blower investigations.
