Edward L. Kainen

The managing partner and senior attorney at the Kainen Law Group in Las Vegas, Nevada, Edward L. Mr. Kainen is a family law board-certified specialist by the State Bar of Nevada and a certified specialist in family trial law by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He ensures his clients are well-prepared to handle the court proceedings confidently. 

A 1985 graduate of the University of South Florida, Mr. Kainen obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 1988 from the Washburn University School of Law. Early in his career, he prosecuted felonies and environmental crimes as an assistant state attorney and headed investigations while serving as a senior trial attorney advising state and federal agencies. He is a licensed legal practitioner allowed to represent his clients in Nevada, Kansas and Florida state and federal courts.

A highly involved member of legal organizations that associate him with peers, Mr. Kainen has held key positions in several organizations, including the State Bar of Nevada’s Family Law Section, the American Bar Association’s Family Law Section Continuing Legal Education program and the Nevada Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers as well as the being a Fellow and being on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Matrimonial attorneys and being a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers. Over the years, he has taught continuing legal education seminars throughout the U.S. and abroad, covering a wide range of interesting legal topics.
