John Park created the Law Office of John Park to serve clients across the Southwest. He handles cases in California and Nevada and his firm is also licensed in Utah. These cases span advanced estate planning (high net worth), asset protection, probate, elder law, business law, and wills and trusts. He is also capable of serving a more diverse clientele because he speaks both English and Korean, fluently. He is licensed to practice in Nevada, California and Utah, respectively.
When pursuing his undergraduate degree, Mr. Park majored in business management and minored in Korean at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He then worked in the mortgage industry for some time before deciding it was time for a career change. He then completed a dual MBA and law degree at the UNLV, William S. Boyd School of Law and Lee Business School in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Mr. Park has been selected as a Super Lawyers - Rising Star (Mountain States) in 2021 and 2022. He also was selected as a Best Lawyers - Ones to Watch in 2023 and 2024 in the areas of Business Organizations, Corporate Law, Elder Law, Immigration Law and Trusts and Estates Law. He is also accredited as an attorney by the Department of Veterans Affairs to represent veterans with their claims with the department.
While pursuing his law degree, Mr. Park remained active in on-campus activities. He assisted with the formation of several student organizations and received the CALI award for legal drafting. He also served as an extern at the then – Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada under the Honorable Abbi Silver.
Over the years, Mr. Park has remained active in several legal organizations. These include the State Bar of Nevada, State Bar of California and the State Bar of Utah, the probate and trusts and business law sections for Nevada, California and Utah, WealthCounsel and the California Lawyers Association. Outside of work, he loves fishing and basketball. He is also a volunteer coach for his daughters’ basketball and soccer teams.
