Joseph L. Benson, II

Rooted in Las Vegas, with formative years spent in Incline Village and Reno, Mr. Benson's high school journey at Earl Wooster High School in Reno was marked by excellence in football and track and field, culminating in a AAA All-State Football Championship and recognition in two skill positions as AAA All-State. He advanced his studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he earned a B.S. in hotel administration, a degree that helped him further understand the nuances of Hotels and Casinos operate. His academic journey was distinguished by his inclusion on the dean’s honor list and further broadened by international studies in the vibrant city of San Miguel De Allende, Mexico.

Inspired by the field of law, Mr. Benson received his J.D. from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego in 2000. His legal education was distinguished by studying under the late U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia in International Constitutional Law at Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland.

After passing the Nevada State Bar on his first attempt in 2000, Mr. Benson began as an associate at his father Jospeh L. Benson Sr.'s personal injury firm before co-founding Benson & Bingham Accident Injury Lawyers, LLC, in 2004. His career is distinguished by countless successful cases and trials across justice, district and federal courts, showcasing his adeptness in civil tort litigation.

Mr. Benson is a valued member of the Nevada Justice Association, National Association of Distinguished Counsel, the American Bar Association and the Clark County Bar Association. His accolades include the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and recognition as a "2022 Las Vegas Leading Lawyer" by Vegas magazine.
