At Brigham Young University in 1975, Mr. Rushforth obtained a Bachelor of Arts in political science and Spanish, graduating cum laude. He then entered law school and earned his Juris Doctor from the same school in 1978, once again graduating cum laude. Currently, he is a fellow with The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and regularly gives seminars and publishes articles on issues related to estate planning law. For over 20 years, he has been sought after as a presenter for various professional organizations.

Mr. Rushforth has mediated in many large cases and is an expert witness in federal and state estate planning courts in Nevada. A member of the State Bar of Nevada’s Probate and Trust Section, the Southern Nevada Estate Planning Council and the Nevada State College’s Board of Trustees, he is actively involved in the local legal community.
