Laying his foundation in law at the Suffolk University Law School, Mr. Katz obtained his law degree in 1997. He further pursued his passion to complete his master’s degree in law with a concentration in taxation from the Boston University School of Law in 1998. Prior to this, he had completed a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the Lee Business School–University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Enriched by his education and the knowledge gained from decades of experience, Mr. Katz imparts his knowledge to the next generation and the legal community in any way he can. While in law school, he served as a research assistant, and his academic flair has resulted in him co-authoring one of the first articles on the “Spendthrift Trust Act of Nevada,” which has given way to the Nevada Asset Protection Trusts. His remarkable achievements in the field have also been recognized with a “Superb” rating on Avvo and a peer-review rating of AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell.
